Sacred Awakenings
We are two souls looking to bring higher states of love and consciousness to western Canada. We will be hosting events and workshops throughout Alberta and BC focusing in Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. Through Reiki Training, Meditation Workshops and Tantra Workshops, we hope to build a better planet.
Tai-Monique
Tai-Monique is an enthusiastic, lifestyle entrepreneur who is creating a “life by design,” living her highest excitements and fulfilling her divine purpose. Co-founder of Sacred Awakenings, Tai-Monique is an Usui & Karuna Reiki Master, an Intuitive Crystal, Sound and Energy Healer and educator, as well as a Numerologist, Zen Trilotherapy and Life Coach. She strongly believes in the future of our next generation and teaches children Meditation practices and Reiki. Additionally, she works with the Spiritually-Gifted Youth. As a speaker and international multi-business owner, she drives a team of aspiring leaders to help transform the lives of others while fulfilling their own pursuits and dreams of extraordinary choice. Passionate about service and leadership, Tai-Monique is constantly involved in various projects, particularly those that support women in their efforts to reclaim a sacred sovereignty and divine feminine wisdom with a view to live an inspired, spirit-filled, enriched life of authenticity, self-love, joy and freedom. Together with her life partner Matt Welke and their beautiful dog Gandalf, they are on an accelerated mission with a grand vision to help people re-awaken to their true sacred selves, to live in a world filled with more love, peace, equality and unity.

Matt
Matt Welke is a Reiki Master in both Usui and Karuna Reiki. He came upon Reiki at a time when he required deep healing after deciding to separate from a marriage. After witnessing success with himself and also with others which whom he offered Reiki too, he developed a passion for sharing this marvelous gift. Upon declaring that he wished to teach Reiki to others, Tai-Monique entered his life. Together they created Sacred Awakenings to help empower people to create positive change in world. Through their own personal journeys they have created additional healing and enlightening programs one of which is facilitating regular meditation classes using Tibetan and crystal singing bowls. This class has become a powerful tool for the community to come together and experience deep relaxation and mindfulness.
